Welcome to Gippsland Lung Function
Gippsland Lung Function performs lung function testing at Maryvale Hospital in Morwell and Central Clinic in Warragul.
Lung function testing is a vital test for people with respiratory illnesses or lung disease such as asthma and emphysema. It is also an important test for people with breathing problems to identify the cause and severity.
Debbie Riley is the senior scientist at Gippsland Lung Function. She has had extensive experience in the respiratory field having established and managed respiratory laboratories both in the UK and Australia.
Lung function test results are sent by fax within two working days to the patient’s doctor. Unreported results can be given to clients on completion of the test.
Specialist Care
Once your testing is complete, your test results will be sent to your referring doctor. If required, you may be referred to a lung specialist for further investigation or treatment.

Tests are performed by experienced Lung Function staff who will guide you through the test, making you feel comfortable, while performing at your best.
